hahhhaha, actually, if you were in perth, that particular setup is for sale right now.

anyhow, with cars with small boots, a sealed enclosure within the spare tirewell works wonders, and if done properly enhances the power of the amp

Dear god that must be one helluva system. That is waaay too much for a car that size. Talk about overkill.

I'm looking to put in a simple box, just wanna see which way the woofer is facing. The Damonb box isn't big enough to hold the 10w7 though.

I am assuming you have heard the w7, right? From what I have heard - in real life cars, does it honestly matter which way it faces? Put that thing in a big *** box with a huge *** amp pushing it, and enjoy putting your rear view mirror back on when you are done.

sparky: You are not going to do a 10W7 ... I won't let you.

10W7s are made for cars with lots of cabin volume ... not RX-7s. Now I can understand if you just want to do something because you think it is cool. However if you want it sound good ... look elsewhere. As a matter of fact I personally would not put a W7 in anything other than an SUV and I would tune it VERY low and put lots of power on it.

ok, I'm calm ... False floor is cool ... only in an FD there is not a lot of room left to make it look false!

But the curbs they like to just jump out and grab me on occasion. Not very nice if you ask me those bastards.

I wouldn't do that either. I would do 3 8s ... not just W7s because they are like normal 10s on crack. Three 8s under the strut tower bar would do nice for being real punchy.
