I want to do an interior swap, I have tan but want black. The top is tan and the part on the sunroof is tan. Does this come off? Actually, is there anyway I can just paint my tan interior and it actually look good? Any advice is appreciated.

 

yes it comes off i swapped a guy for red interior took about an hour to do everything

 

I've painted a lot of my old cars with "vinyl" paint. It won't wear well and if you ever scratch it the tan will come through. You could spend as much time as you want preping it and it still rubs off.

I would find a salvage yard and buy the entire interior. Sell what you don't need. In fact i'm picking an extra complete black fd interior up tomorrow for a project for $1000.
