Thumbs up Interior Plastidip Questions!!! Please Read And Help Thanks!!!

Hi I Have A Few Questions In Regaurs To Plastidip...

1. For Anyone Who Has Done It, Plastidip Vs. Duplicolor High Heat Engine Enamel, Which Is Better, And More Durable?
2. How Durable Is Plastidip? How Long Does It Last?
3. Where Do You Buy It? Lol...

Thanks You Guys, And I Would Appreciate If You Dont Bash My Thread If You Feel The Need To, Im A New Fd Owner...

Robert

I've only used pd to repair my hood rod-end. It worked great, very durable so far. I had to get it online because the local Lowes/HD did not have it even though the pd web site said they did...

I used Plasti Dip on my gauge hood and instrument surround. It's very durable and came out nicely. It has a slight texture to it, a little more than the '93 finish but a lot less than the '94. I don't know how it compares to Duplicolor High Heat Engine Enamel. I tried scratching the panel on my first coat and it it took quit a bit of effort.

I bought mine at Lowes for about $5.00 a can. I believe Advance Auto also carries it.
