I finally got some nice equipment in my1988 very. Itturnedout really good. I decided to fab up my own mounting kit for an "original" look. I replaced the 2 speakers under the dash and managed to fit 5.25. For the doors I installed a 6.5" component set. I hooked it all up but wanted it louder so I grabbed my 4ch amp, ran some wires, RCA,power ground and remote. When I went to mount my amp in the storage behind the driver seat I noticed a factory amp, there is another one under the dash as well. I traced theories back to a rats nest of wires (old Sokol) I'm wondering if I can just cut the wires and remove these 2 OEM amps or will this cause a problem?
