importfan has been around for atleast 4-5 years, i would trust them

There was a thread recently in here about their "C-wings" headlight kit & other bodykit parts. You could probably search for that and find out what happened in the end.
They aren't too far from me, so I might stop by one of these days and check out their store.

i would never order from those clowns again. i spent $2000+ there(bumper, side skirts and a wing) over a year later i hadn't gotten anything....call after call trying to get some answers, "it's on a boat..bla bla bla"...and then when i decided i had enough and i sold my car, it took 6mos. just to get my damn refund.

damn sorry to hear about that. i knew it would take forever for them to ship it so thats why my brother and i took the time to drive down to LA and get it ourselves even though they didnt have the rear bumper when they said they did.

Because some people simply don't have the money to spend on a $2500 body kit. ****, I bought a $1000+ front from R-Magic and the fit and finish isn't any better than the replicas I've had in the past.

plus the majority of the rx7 community im sure have replicas and not originals. they may be cheaper but there are some good companies that make replicas.

I think you have that backwards, this isn't a Honda forum.

Leave it stock then, no one is forcing anyone to get one.

heck, I had geunine FEED parts and RE-Amemiya stuff, I took them off after knockoffs started appearing, and I'll replace them when I decide on a kit I like that hopefully won't get knocked off.

oh ok, its just that i always read about people buying and having replicas and on occasion some of originals and i always see people selling replicas in the for sale section. but we'll never no. maybe we should take a poll.

Right, if no one is getting forced then people are free to buy what they want. Right? Just because people can't afford to buy the expensive crap doesn't mean they should just leave it stock. Some replicas are just as good as the originals. I had some replica parts on my FD and they looked just as good if not better than the real ones I see on other people's cars
