I just installed a pioneer head unit, and it works great with the bose sound system, sounds better than any system i've ever heard in other cars. What you guys think? I have an fd btw.

A upgraded aftermarket head unit with onboard DSP, EQ, crossover and line level sub woofer outputs will allow you to fine tune a bose system to sound very decent.
Of course it is no comparison for a high powered aftermarket system.
However, the upgraded bose is a good choice for those who don't want to add lots of extra weight to their cars (amps and sub boxes) and prefer to spend their money on mods.

With the BOSE system all you really need is some nice component doors with tweeters and some 6x9, 2 or 3 ways. Sounds Chin.

Then I guess you never had yours fine tuned.

I have witnesses, too. Stock Bose speakers (when working 100% ) a good headunit, and the inline adapter tuned right and the system sounds really good! All I have is a Blaupunkt, and people could NOT believe I still had the Bose speakers in there.
