Hey all this is my first post on this forum, I went through all the trouble of registering solely to ask this one question. As seen on http://www.capcom.com/am/index.html from the game Auto Modellista, that beauty's got one of the FINEST looking backsides i have ever seen... haha, i dont own the game, nor do i own a RX-7 currently... so im basing my future spending solely on a 2D CG image of a partial RX-7...

Well i cant say much for myself, but im hoping that any of you would know if it?s some common JDM aftermarket or otherwise piece... but something that simply awesome?s gotta exist..... right? You all know a lot more about RX-7?s than i do, i only research design and build...

yea i think its just a kit that capcom made for the rx7 in the game, like an original part or something.

Nothing to be ashamed of, I was playing Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 for my Dreamcast when it first came out. After repeatedly getting whooped by the Boss with the White RX7, I started the game over but this time I was set on acquiring an FD as soon ASAP.

I was not very impressed with the in-game performance, but it was the FDs looks that drew me in. Later on I found the forums and started researching FDs online, and found that they can become fast cars, (a little unreliable though).

BTW my first ever FD I saw in person was a Red automatic with black racing stripe, which I saw a year before playing TXR2. I thought it was ugly as fawk, but of course all I saw was a big black stripe. At the time too, I was shopping around for a 3000GT VR4, so RX7s weren't my thing yet.

erm the only difference is the front bumper, the original you get the smoke covers for the front 99 spec turn lamps, on replicas you dont!! they are just left bare!

 

NEVER buy a replica GTC front end... they look horrible.

if you're going to go for the GTC look, go with original parts.

Sorry to burst your bubble but they aren't available anymore (at least not in North America). MazdaSpeed set up shop here and is not importing the same stuff MazdaSpeed Japan sells.

WRT tinted lenses, you can order them separately (I got the last set from Mazda Comp) but again, it'll be a Japanese export thing.

WRT fit, I've heard ppl w/ replicas that fit really well. My authentic GT-C needed some work...same as my authentic R-Magic stuff.
