hey all i got this headunit with the car and i know its an Eclipse 5441 head unit but i dont know the year or how powerful it is, i need to know how powerful it is b/c i need to order new rear speakers

if you know anywhere that sells eclipse audio stuff please let me know, i havent been able to find anyone

and as a side note i get alot of static from some stations and some stations arent perfect, like its has trouble locking on them - do you think this is an antenna or head unit prob, or somethin else?

Eclipse makes some of the nicest headunits I've ever heard of. Don't let the lack of bells and whistles fool you it has amazing download times and rarely skips. If you have MP3 playback your one lucky SOB. Nothing on the market can keep up with the Eclipse download time for MP3 files. I'd hang on to it if I were you. Look up Crutchfield .com.

 

I think that model is cd only.

 

I am about to reinstall another Eclipse 5303r head unit into my FD. I used that same head unit CD/Radio Preamp back when it was a show car... and I was never disappointed.

BTW, I'm also gonna reinstall my old ESX Q1204(zed audio) amplifer with some new speakers....
