how much for a custom carbon fiber hood?

how much would it cost to make a custom carbon fiber hood? I want to combine 2 diffrent kinds of vented hoods, and the only way I see it feasable is if it is custom. I have heard of people making small carbon fiber parts at home, but would it be possible to make a custom hood on my own?

You wouldnt be able to do it (on your own) If it were flat like plywood, you could buy two hoods and chop them up and weld them together on the stock, but making a hood out of CF, with NO experiance with CF is gonna be impossible, even with experiance, its gonna be a bitch

I'd do it for $600. But for you, it's $700.

part one of the hood( feed vent):

and either this (r-magic vent):

or this (mazdaspeed):

now, if I did the mazdaspeed one, I would want to change the actual opening to look more like the attachment, so its not as much of a vertical vent as its kindof horizontal too, like on the real evo.

or I might want the bmw M3 GTR vents, Ill attach those on the next post.

the attachment are the bmw vents I would want.

now, which vents would you be able to put on a hood along with the feed vent? how much (~) would each of these cost?

I think you and I have the same idea for what the front vent should look like. It should be about a 45deg. angle. Not horizontal, yet not vertical.

Incorporating the BMW vents wouldn't be too hard.

The Scoot vents I don't like and would be pretty difficult to do well. What kind of car is this for?

well, firstofall, I didnt say the scoot part, but anyways......

it would either be for an fd, fc, or maby a 240sx.

its not gonna be anytime soon, Im just doing what I have done the whole time I been on here. gathering information, so when I finally get my car, I can unleash the raw power of a well planned, well thought out car.

Yeah, I meant the Feed vents. Oops. Yes, it's possible. I would do it for 700$, but I work cheap.
