??? HOw to get stock mazda emblem glue off
ok i know this has been answered already but right now, i want to take off my efini emblems since i bought the flying M emblem and its just sitting in my room..
what i want to know is do the efini emblems have prongs on the back?? cause i started to try to take them off but it seems like its stuck on there..
and will the hairdryer trick work when taking off the emblem too?? and i thought simple green is bad for the paint?

so i can just squeeze some ligher fluid in the gaps of the emblem and let it sit, then it will just slide right off??

I bought my car with the rx7 emblem removed already and the mazda still there on the rear. The glue was all dried up and i tried numors things to try and get the glue off. And since i work at a car dealership , i figured they would have something that would help take it off. Well no luck.
So one day, while on one of the tool trucks that come through, i picked up an ereaser that you hook up to a drill. They use it to take of pin stripes and of the sort. So on my lunch i went home and gave it a try, and wow, the crap came right off. And after i was done, i wiped the area clean and put a nice coat of wax on there i couldnt be happier.
The tool guy warned me not to leave it in one spot for too long and to only opertate it at no more then 1000rpms or something like or it will damage the paint.
But i would recomend this tool to anyone if they have tried other methods and failed
