How to get a broken off key out (help!)

How to get a broken off key out (help!)

I have a cheap replacement key for ignition . It just broke off in there today . does anyone know how to get the key out ? Or know how to take off the key mechanism

^ What he said. Maybe if you had a strong enough magnet you could just pull it out. Depends how deep it is

I had the same problem...lol the car was still starting with a broken key..

I mixed up a tiny dab of j.b. weld and put a little on the end of the key and put it back in the ignition.crossed my fingers and hoped that I didn't weld the tumblers together. Waited 10 minutes or so and then tried pulling the key out and it came out! :-) maybe just really lucky, but it worked for me.
