How to get to the back of my stereo?

I have searched for this but I can't find what I'm looking for.

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to get to the back of my stereo without ripping apart my entire interior. I just need to put a new Sirius antenna in and I don't really know what the best way to go would be. It's already got a sirius antenna so I was just going to route it the same way.

If you stereo guys can tell me how you would get there, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Jeremy

its not really difficult at all to take out the dash trim surrounding the cd player to take it out (the only way to get to the back of it)
1. pop up the trim piece that includes the shift boot and shift it as far back as the boot will allow
2. remove ash tray
3. take out the two screws behind the ash tray
4. take out the two screws going upwards (near the ac vents in the radio/ac trim piece
5. disconnect the bulb and wires to cigarette lighter
6. remove trim piece
7. remove screws holding the radio mounting piece and you're donw.

importracer689 those instructions sound idetical to a fc and he has a fd pictured I've never had a fd but know quite a few people that do and the ash tray is located rear of the shifter in the fd not part of the surround for the radio at all.

I have an Aftermarket stereo, but I still have the bin below and it comes out the same way you take out the stereo.

You can get a tool to do it from an Audio store or you can get a metal wire hanger and cut both ends and bend them a bit -

Push one side at a time if you'd like, just pull evenly. Hope that helps.

Not really, I've got an aftermarket Kenwood with the double din touch screen. I'm just trying to install a new antenna for my Sirius radio and I need to get to the back.

Under the glove compartment/footwell area, there should be a panel on the transmission tunel, if you pop that off, you might be able to get in there.

No way, there's a big metal brace in the way. You gotta pull the deck.
