Just wondering how you guys are able to fit a jack under your 7's with body kits, mainly talking about sideskirts with slammed suspension.
thanks.

Easiest way would be to get some "low ramps"
I think takata makes some, but there are probably heaps of other companies that sell a similar product, or you could make some fairly easily.

They give you just enough clearance to get a jack under

Wow! Aren't you scared to drove that around the streets?! More pics?

+1 for the pieces of wood. The ones i have are really wide (~10 inches) and about 1 1/2- 2 inches thick. Look around construction zones, they usually dum,p them into the streets. THey come in handy!!

What are the chances of one of those failing when you're working under the car? I don't want to die a horrible death with a messed up face!

Its for changing your wheels while at the track! You run an air compressor, plug it into the male fitting mounted on the car somewhere, and your car pops up without the need to take anything off the car, drive it up on any wood, and jack it up, etc.

To do work underneath the car, just hit the air, get the car off the ground, THEN fit a jack under your car to a nice safe place, jack it up, and like regular, USE JACKSTANDS!!! Any moveable device whether it be a hydraulic jack, scissor jack, air rams, whatever is not safe to hold your car up while you are working under it. It always has the change of failing somehow. Jackstand is the only and safest way!

The forum is Ziptied.com

Check the Pitpass Body Shop section. Thread is called: "air jacks and fuel cell stole your girlfriend"

His is a custom job, so its not too much money. Complete sets for 4 jacks i've seen go for as high as $3000. Its obviously not that much if you do all the work yourself and search around for something else that can work, not sweet billet aluminum aircraft-grade ****.

I think his style of setup would run about $600. 2 jacks, make the mounts and brackets yourself. Mount to your main hoop of the rollbar.

Why? The gap in the front is already larger than the gap in the back. Making the gap in the back smaller would just make it look goofy.

Dorifto_PG, thanks for the info man. Always wondered where you could get them. Any idea on how heavy they are?
