does anybody know how they do this if the 1/4 panel is totally fucked???

 

Weld on a new one? I am afraid I don't get exactly what you want to know..

But depending on how bad your quarter panel is bent in you may be able to pull most of it out and then fill in with body filler(cheaper) or you might have to cut the old one out and weld in a new quarter panel.

 

u drill out all the spot welds, cut the pillar between the roof and the belt moulding on the door, and cut the bottom of the quarter panel where it joins the outer rocker panel, its easy, i joined a coupe quarter panel to a convertible before on my 2nd gen, i also changed the strut tower on my fd

yeah they cut it out and wield in a new one, not really a big deal, or they can bend it back if its not too bad

Thats one of the bummers about the 7..

 

yeah i saw in carfax that my rear quarter panel got fucked up in the past, but seems like they just pulled it out and repainted it

 

does it drive straight?
