HOT mailorder BRIDEs from Japan!!!!

Now that I've got your attention, just thought I'd share what arrived late last week with everyone:

Sticker says it all.... gulp!!! Stradia IIs, from Bride, JP via Kyoei USA here in Phoenix and LOT USA out of California! Black logo with Carbon Kevlar shells

Yellow kevlar weave in the seatbacks really goes well with the car color.

And finally, a few shots of the seats installed:

Nice, looks like clearance to the door panel is minimal if any.

No doubt, very tight. lucky for me I'm only 5'10 with a 31 inch inseam, so I sit closer than most. More clearance on the passenger side than driver's side. Is this typical? Have others done anything to increase clearance??

Wow, those seats look like they BELONG in the FD.

2 things though...

1, I shudder just thinking about how expensive they were.

And 2....I'm 5'11" about 200lbs, and sit ALL the way back, so it sounds like I would have fitment issues.

Yoshi... yea, if you sit all the way back they will likely rub on the drivers side door panel. I looked for a couple of years hoping to snag a set of factory Recaros, but either the timing was bad when they came up for sale, or the condition of the seats was less than optimal for the asking price (IMO). If you look at BRIDE's website, they have a warning that these seats are only rated to 180 lbs, which suprised me. Certainly catering to the Japanese market on that one. Guess I need to lose a little weight

Pricewise, they are about the same price as a nice FB

Not sure if there is any more room in the FC for these versus the FD or not?

Stradia's ? You should go get your shift boot and ebrake boot redone in matching Bride fabric from Redline Goods.

Thanks. You'll be one of the first to sit in them (other than yours truly)

Maybe leather boots with red stitching, but Bride fabric (IMO) would be overkill.
