HID retrofit questions! need help please
i'm contemplating going the HID route on my 1st gen. rx7 since i have an opportunity of getting it for cheaps, and was wondering if this will actually work?? yes, i'm talking about using stock headlight housings for the meantime until i modify it w/ the cutoff and other miscellaneous.
the HID kit is a universal Hella H4 unit which comes w/ the ballast as well the H4 bulbs, wirings, etc.
please help!

If you have the stock headlight housings it wont work since theyre sealed. If you have aftermarket H4 headlight housings, the kit will work since you can replace the bulb without removing the whole housing.
Just remember that the stock housing will give off alot of glare to oncoming traffic. So set your headlights lower than usual.
