Unhappy Help! whining from engine to speakers

I'm having a real bad whining from engine noise which is going threw the speakers. Is it the radio ground, amp ground? Help.

Check your amp ground and make sure it's on clean, bare metal.

Did you run your rca's on the opposite side of the power wires?

if none of that works try a ground loop isolator. Can get hem for like 15 bucks hooks up to the rca's of the amp. Works.

Ground interference

Thanks for the help. I'm going to try tonight to see what it is.

The weird thing is that I changed amps, but left the same ground wire from previous amp. I don't believe it should have changed but did.

Keep the suggestions coming.

Thanks

Trace speaker and RCA line level wires. Make shure they do not cross or come too close to the power wire. At least 6" away, preferabley 1'. They can not cross like an intersection either. Run power on one side of the car and all speaker and line level on the other side even though it longer wire for one side.
