Help ! Where can I get this?

I have seen a picture of a steering column shroud for the RX7 93FD which has a slightly sunken centre mounting position to allow for a gauge just in front of the tacho. The important point is that the mounting position is slightly sunken into the plastic shroud - It wont stick up too high and look out of place.

I can't find one in Australia. I know they exist in the States but can't locate one. I thought someone may be able to provide some info or contact details of where I can get one.

Really appreciated.

I see from the pic that you have already visited RX7Store. Don't you want to buy it from Jason?

This is the one rx7.com sells, but as you can see it doesn't really "sink in". I'm not positive, but I don't remember there being that much room in the column to allow lower guages (not sure tho).

The version the RX-7 Store sells is not the one that has the gauge mount sunken. The version you are looking for is the RE Amemiya mount (or a copy of). However, I hear that some gauges are too deep to fit into that sunken version which is why I went with the non-sunken version from the RX-7 Store. You really don't lose any useable visibility of the tach.

I believe Pettit Racing sells a copy of the RE Amemiya mount as well as RX-7.com:

You might also check with JT-Imports, they might be able to order it for you. http://www.jt-imports.com/

Hey thanks eveyone for the info.

The RX7Store's one although shown as sunken on the initial web page, the subsequent image on the second web page shows an image of one that is not.

Does anyone have a good image of the Petit one? Their web site pic is poor quality and I cant quite tell.

The RE Amemiya mount is the best but it is outrageously priced for a bit of plastic. Was looking for the cheaper copy.

Any other comments appreciated.

this is not the greatest pic, but it's the only one I have right now. The fitment was a bitch, lots of sanding and dremeling, but in the end it fit and looked great.
