hi guys, I dont actually own an Rx7 (i would if i could afford insurance) but i was wondering if someone could help me

I have a 93 model Mx-6 and i have gotten some series 6 RX7 leather Seats w/o brackets

now i was told these would mount right in no problems..just use my MX6 brackets/rails...but obviously i was misinformed because the rx7 seat is quite a bit smaller then the MX seat

Would someone please be able to measure the bracket mounts for me, (mounting holes to floor) as im wondering if i were to get some rx7 brackets if that would solve my problem or not. Would it be possibly to get some pictures of the rx7 seat brackets on or off seat??
Otherwise i have been quoted $1000 Australian for custom brackets which im not likeing too much

Any other ideas would be appreciated.

thanks guys....and i will be getting a series 3 RX7 one day when insurance likes me a little more.......

you guys are the ones that can help out my problem here, i realise its a bit of effort, but im sure there is at least one generous person willing to break out his tape measure and measure the brackets mounting points and distance between these..

i would be very greatful.

 

why dont you check out that guy who sold you the seats? its the least he could do for selling you something and misinforming you of its fitments!

yeah i emailed him, he in in melbourne and im in sydney
and he has also sold his RX7 since then
he had racing seats and then sold the car
thats why he sold the seats
