lights on knightsport front end.
So I got a knightsports front end. The one with the 4 fog lights in the front. except they aren't knightsports foglights, they are some generic low quality lights that came with thefront end.
And i'll be damned if I can't find an easy way to wire these things up. I have a touring FD, so I was just going to splice into the stock foglights power, but the problem is in the connectors to the bulbs. The bulbs are GE 880s. I went into a local auto electric store, and it took them a couple days to even find something that would work for me. AC Delco wants $20 PER connector. At 4 lights, that would be $80...A little bit more than I'm looking to spend.
Does anyone have any better ideas on how to deal with this? I had thought just wiring it directly with some crimp on quick disconects, some wire, and electrical tape. now I'm starting to think that I may be able to replace the bulbs themselves but keep the light housing. I really don't plan on keeping this front end for too long, so I don't want to put a hwole lot of money into it.
I could go out and buy a pair of Hellas or PIAAs or something, and use the extra holes in the bumper for brake ducts or extra radiator ducting or something..
Or I could just leave all the lights in there, but not hook them up.
What do you all think? Have any ideas or suggestions?

Did you buy an original Knight Sports bumper or a knockoff? The original piece should come with IPF lights that fit perfectly. RotaryKnight had some for sale a while back, you might wanna try to PM him and see if he still has them.

it was sold as an original, but it would surprise me if it was a knockoff. It was a great deal either way, so I'm not faded.
but anyways, I HAVE lights for it, I just don't have the wiring connectors. I don't want to spend the money it would take to replace all the lights. If I don't want to spend $80 on little connectors, then I sure don't want to spend $200+ on new lights, you know?

hey Nik, sorry about that man. I got the bumper with those lights and I just never used them. They aren't really fog/projector lights either. They are more of a driving light. Anyways, all I did was connect the little connectors with some of that crimp female connectors I had laying around. Sorry man, that how I got the bumper. I still have those other lights that I told you about but I don't know how they would fit or if they would even look good. Did you still want those?

Man, I got the same Knightsport front bumoer too but it was a knockoff with no lights(got it at a great price). I need lights too. Two sets to be exact. A set of round fog lights with a diameter of 4" would be perfect. If I'm not mistaken you can use the IPF lights from the East Bear kit but they're expensive. Anyone else got any ideas.

don't worry bout it, John, it's all good. I think I'll just take that female connector approach.
But from what I can tell, the lights came off a chevy Blazer. Maybe I could make a run to the junkyard and lop off a few connectors..
I sent you a PM about those lights, but hadn't heard back...maybe it didn't get to you for some reason.
