Hi all.


I have a 93 MB with a pioneer xm head unit and pioneer 6.5 3 way speakers in the doors, BUT all I have is Highs, no mids or anything, I believe my car originally came with the BOSE wave system but a previous owner had it removed my ? is is there anyplace that I can mount 6X8's , like the non-bose RX-7's have, pics would be nice any input would be great .

PS The car has wire/cables ran and a fuse for a subwoofer hook up, but I really am not into all the loud bass without being able to hear the music so thats why I wanna know where it is possible to mount some 6x8's , with little modification .

 

i just took my rear 1/4 panel speaker grills and mounted alpine type r's on

pretty simple

thanks man I appreciate it, however there were no stock speakers in my rear quarter panel, but im sure if you post pics I can find I way to stick them in there

i didnt go that route cuz u were limited to used smaller 6x8

and i have a type r which have a bigger magnet, and i just mounted them behind the grills

I am gonna take a picture of what my quarter panels look like to show you what I am talking about...there are no speaker grills just a cubby hole on each side where it looks like speaker should have went if it was a non-bose model. Hmmm how much for the mounting brackets?

 

i need that bracket too. how much........
