Help me get rid of dents!

I just purchased a fd and there are a couple smaller dents around the car and also one medium size dent about the size of a fist on the left side front fender. Any ways of how to get them fixed without alot of money spent? Any do it yourself ways?

I know it looks cheesy, but it works. It's pretty slow going, but you shouldn't have to do any painting when you're done. (I found one on sale at my local Sears for $12.99, BTW)

If you think it doesn't work you're using it wrong. Read the directions carefully and follow them to the letter. Don't try to start from the middle of a big dent and expect to pop it all at once. You have to work from the edges and be prepared to take your time.

If you're willing to drop $200 or so, check out a place that does paintless dent removal. They have more involved tools than the Ding King and can drastically clean up the appearance of a car that has a few noticeable dents and dings. They'll also generally smooth out the smaller ones as well. No, it ain't $12.99 but it also ain't even close to what a body shop would charge.

just a word bout the ding king method... it definetly works...but it leaves that spot more succeptible for future dings...cuz the metal there has already been bent out of shape. it's more...malleable i guess u can say in that area. so just keep that in mind, cuz chances are, if you bump that area or even close to it, you'll end up w/ an even bigger ding from just a slight bump..

those " ppl who do body work " will sand the paint down and use bondo to cover the dent and then sand it and paint it over ... i always afraid the bondo is gonna fall off after i slam my door a few times

I think Ding King is great. Eventually you will repaint and fix all the imperfections, but 'till then it is great.
