Help!!! Amp not working =\

I got a Kenwood amp, I do not have the model number available at this moment, but what it is doing, is that it turns on and it'll pound for about a sec, and then it'll stop =\ if i leave it for a while, then i'll pound again and then it'll stop again. anyone know what's wrong??? thanks for all your input.

Sounds like the protection circuits are shutting it down. It's probably dead. No economic sense in having it repaired, just replace it.
