Has anyone seen these Carbon Fiber interior piece pics before?
Okay. Dealing not knowing about whether I'm getting fucked or not. Delays, delays, delays, that are now stopping me from taking receipt of my car with the resealed engine and turbo. These were the photos I was sent of my parts. (Funny thing is, I didn't have a cowl done, and when I called him out, he said he sent the wrong pic b/c he was exhausted when he emailed the pics and they were from someone elses order. To believe or not... don't know)
So here's the pics I was sent. Has anyone seen them anywhere before? As in, was I sent the pics of someone elses work just to shut me up?

Who has your parts? Is it Sonix7?
He did my interior pieces and luckily for me I didn't get scammed. I'm VERY happy with the work performed and my CF pieces look amazing =).

Okay, they came in. Turns out they WERE the pics. And yes, it was Jason Evans, aka Sonix7.
They are all actually CF coated.
The passenger door trim looks good, but the edges where it meets with the map pocket is crappy. The shifter panel, coin tray, and a/c panel look good (though for some reason the numbers an the a/c speed **** don't match right.) The cluster face is decent but has a little bit of bubbling. The passenger door trim looks like crap.
Sadly, it was such a hassle with this guy that trying to get him to fix it isn't worth it. They look good (not great) and will work with the black interior.

That's AWESOME news! I'm very happy for you man. I wouldn't suggest sending them back to him. You, like me, are the lucky few who actually got our stuff back in the first place. It's definitely not worth the hassle/headache to send them back.
The parts I received where probably very similar to yours, but I did send them back and he fixed them. They look MINT now. If you want them fixed up though, contact FDNewbie. He has a ton of connections and I'm sure he'd be able to help you out. Plus, you definitely don't have to worry about being scammed!
