Has anyone put rear speakers in their FD Touring (with Bose stereo)? How did you do it and what size speakers did you use? I'm not talking about subwoofers, I'm talking coaxial, etc.
Thanks!

I removed all the Bose stuff. Kept the rear tray and the plastic clips above the tray. Mounted a subwoofer where the spare would normally go. You could mount the speakers to the tray using a box underneath (Crutchfield).

I did.
I actually did mount rear speakers and I also live in Minneapolis.
What I ended up doing is removing the bose tube from the rear end and getting the rear panels/brackets from a base model car and installing them along with aftermarket speakers/wiring/amps/empeg.
I also built a removeable sub box/amp that can be connected when I feel like it and don't need the trunk space.
You could also fab brackets and probably get grills to fit into the place where the touring has pockets yourself but it would be a much large hassle than I was willing to deal with. I like the stock look I have now.
