Has any one done something similar to this to their gauge surround?

The lighting can be had in red too. I haven't ordered mine yet. Still deciding on color combo but they are going to cost about $830 for ALL gauges including boost.

Okay guys need your input. I can't decide on what color combo to get. Either the silver/red font or black/red font. I need to order this gauges by tomorrow because they have a sale of 15% off when ordering more than 2 gauges and that is a $130 savings for me. I'm leaning toward the black face but the silver would be cool to mimic the Spirit R gauges.
Aharada you have PM for fuel gauge.

I understand the silver 'Spirit R' look...but I just don't like it... :/
When I see a picture like this:
I say to myself "That's exactly how I want my gauges to look."

Put the ordered in. The guys (and gals) at Speedhut are awesome. They are going to make my gauges to my specification (not much just some "art" design as described above). Came out of there with a %25 discount and free shipping on my order. Now I have to go to Lowe's "Motorsports" to get some fittings for the coolant sensor.

a. that is going to look awesome, great choice
b. who's setup is that in the first two posts? I would love to view a build thread / see more info but searching came up empty.
[Edit: disregard -- just realized this is page two in true noob fashion]
c. is there any issue with the new gauges displaying the mileage of the vehicle correctly?

So how do these gauges install? Are you just able to wire into the stock fd wires for the tach and speedo? And also, can you show how you attach them to the gauge bezel whenever you continue working on it and get the gauges, if you don't mind that is? I'm really intrigued because this looks great.

For the Tach, I will tap into the tach signal from the ECU. The speedo that I ordered is a GPS unit. You have the option to order the one that get it signal from the speed sensor but from what I read on how to set it, it is a PITA. Once I receive my gauges I will make new thread with details pictures for any one to follow.
