probably forgot to use masking tape to covre the moldings. a bit of mr. clean magic eraser and some 303 proteector should bring it black to its shiney blackness.

IMO, that site is helpful, but those people are way too ******* into themselves. When I was going through junior college back home I worked at a dealer for 3 years. I learned detailing from a 20 year vet who previously owned his own business. Guess what...it's not ******* rocket science If it was....then I wouldn't be an engineer for the gov't righ tnow, I'd be detailing cars still. What it takes is having patience and attention to detail, and using decent products.

lol, that's my car.

As for the trim, it came like that actually, we tried to remove it, but it just won't come off..I'm going to get all the trim painted sometime (it's faded at the front, and somebody put a bumper sticker on the back bumper, so i have a perfect fade spot on the back bumper......)

Hey does anyone know of a good shop in austin to get detailing supplies? This new 7 < is eating through polishing compound at an incredible rate and I'm running low on a few other things as well.

The products are all "Matrix Automotive Finishes" It was a full bare metal strip (chemical). A friend shot it with an HVLP; etching primer, filler primer, 6 coats of black, 3 coats of clear. It's a good paintjob but not perfect. The photography and lots of effort keeping it detailed help a lot.

The color is 1987 Buck GN black.

^^damn that looks good.

Im starting to believe that 17s are probably the most appropiate size rim for an FD if you dont have any side skirts IMO.

Cause i feel like my 18s are too big for the car, i might add apexi skirts later on but idk, a nice set of 17s look good on an FD.

Wait those are 17s right?? lol
