Greddy gauge and temp sensor
Hi all, hoping someone on the board might have some knowledge about old school Greddy gauges and sensors and knows a place to get a new or replacement temp sensor.
I got an old gauge and bought a new sensor for it, but it's the wrong type. After some experimenting, I've determined that the correct sensor is a PTC type thermistor between 1.1kΩ at 25 degrees Celsius to about 1.53kΩ at 150 degrees Celsius. The sensor I need is female on its harness while the new ones are male. I think these are PTC and NTC respectively.
The part numbers don't seem to go back that far on Greddy's site, their tech support mailbox seems full.
The gauge in question is a 60mm Oil Temp with warning/memory capability and data link unit. Fancy old school JDM. Can't seem to find any on yahoo japan auctions either, at least separately, which is kind of my last idea.
I tested the unit with a potentiometer and everything else is good, so if you have some know-how that can help me get this thing going again please let me know.
