I am happy with it but I think I like the CWest in IBM or the 99spec in VR better.

Color is subjective. Different people like different colors. However, I would suggest you get some rims before changing your body kit or color. These cars looks strange using the stock rims with body kits.

Looking at my dodge copperhead die cast model, I have always wondered what a metallic orange would look like on an FD. So far, I like what I see. Could you provide some pics out of the shadows, in more uniform lighting? And move out of the damn way!

I agree with weblair. Ditch the spoiler for the wingless look and change out the front end. Other than that it's not bad at all. If you decide to change the color, have the side and rear skirts molded on. It'll look 100x better.

I like the color, it is one I am considering as well. So that is a plus. The sides and the rear skirts are nice and they are agressive but go with the body.

Cons: First and foremost, tan interior does not go with orange. That should have been your first consideration. Next, I hate the wing and the front greatly. And while I like the orange/black combo, stock wheels do not go with body mods, sorry.

BUT, more pics of that color would be appreciated.

Its ok. Its not horrible looking but still not to my liking. My suggestion if you want to change to 99 spec would be to keep that color and the wing, or similar wing. Powder coat the entire wing black and go with black rims with a polished lip. Ive never seen a FD with the things i mentioned above and i think it would be unique and still look good. I believe painting the car white would also look nice with the things i mentioned above.

Also I agree with the post above that the tan interior is just not working with the orange exterior.

All black wheels w/black tires has never appealed to me, I think they just look dirty/worn out/something I can't quite put my finger on. I think I would like it more if the rim of the wheels were chromed/polished. Maybe a different wheel altogether?

I like the color and I think orange looks great with black wheels, although I will have to agree that you should upgrade to something black with a polished lip in 17 or 18".

The Veilside C1 kit isn't my favorite, but at least it's better than the C2. Petit's plateless 99 spec with the lip painted would flow nicely with the skirts too. CWest is a little played out and too boxy for such a curvy car in my opinion.

I don't like the wing. I personally love wingless FD's.

The color's not my thing, I prefer a lower-key approach.

The wing looks like what every other Civic-driving ricer has and the front end is an abomination. Seriously.

I have never been a fan of bodykits or non-stock wings on FD's, but I like the paint on the body and wheels.

this is not the best place to get opinions ... everyone either likes keepin things stock or goin crazy with huge wings and mad bodykits ... but if u want an opinion heres mine ... get sum 17" Graphite rims keep the spoiler and get a good lookin cf hood ... that way u will have the orange/black combo all around the car without goin overboard .... personally though i would have taken a completly different approach to modding a FD ... jus my opinion ^^

Actually, the only thing I don't like is the color. Rest looks good...and I don't even like aftermarket wings like that normally!

The spoiler and color is ok. But I would lose those stock wheels and that awful Veilside kit.

Color is ok. VS sides I can handle. Don't like the wing or front. Like the black wheels, but not the stock ones.. too small for a car with a kit..

Lose the sneakers and put on some black boots.. Not ****-stompers, but not sneakers.. Or keep the sneakers and lose the black pull over.. You could trim the hair over the ears... or wear a ball cap. Oops.. Got carried away.. lol

Just playin.. Your car.. do what YOU like!

I can't say I favor the nose, or the wing. I would also change the interior color for a bit more contrast against the paint (yes, I need new tan seats ). The car is a nice color though, but perhaps a better choice in rims would also help.

If we're still offering personal opinions

I HATE unpainted cf hoods. It's just trying to tell people "Lookie! I bought an aftermarket hood and it's cf!" I like functional vented hoods, but please paint them the same color as the car; it's much more classy. I like the idea of using unpainted cf as ornamental, but a hood is just too big IMO. Leave unpainted cf to small details.

I think it looks pretty fast and mean!! Just remember, you'll NEVER satisfy everybody. People/Members will always have different views, tastes and opinions regarding how the FD should look. If you're satistied with the end result, then, thats the only thing that should matter to you. BTW, are the wheels RPO1s or RPO2s, or....?

Some people give me grief about putting my old scoot hood on my new car, others think it'll look cool, psersonally I think it's essential for the IC setup I have and like I stated before I go for form & function, I rarely if ever sarcifice one over another...

Color 8 out of 10
Body Kit 2 out of 10
Color Coordination 7 out of 10

I actually kinda like it. I like that colour. I've always wondered what it would look like on an FD and it looks pretty good.

I would also lose the wing and keep it wingless. I say leave the veilside kit on. The molded sides and rears look good as well, just get some rims and it'll look a lot nicer.

They appear to be painted stock wheels.
