I have a neighbor/friend who works at a Mercedes-Benz shop as a professional painter,and I have finally persuaded him to paint my FD for $1500 (door jams/engine bay as well),but he will only paint it a different shade of blue for me since he doesn't want to go through the extra work of painting it a whole new color..So with that said,i'm asking for help in choosing a color.I know I will get a lot of "check the 3rd gen. pics sticky",and that's fine,but I am looking for the actual name or paint code of colors that you all think would like nice on the FD.I am thinking maybe more of a royal blue,but any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Midnight Blue looks good. If he works for Mercedes Benz, go to your local dealer and look at some of the blues on the lot. Mercedes and BMW have a few nice shades of blue this year.

You will always have people who do not like it but I am a fan of the stock Montego. Its a good color when its fresh or well taken care of.

I am assuming it is a Montego Blue Mica currently? Why don't you like THAT color? A freshly painted MBM is kick-***, the color-shifting is more pronounced, etc.

 

What do BMW laguna seca blue and interlagos blue look like??

And bajaman,actually it isnt currently MB..I bought it from a guy who did an awful backyard paint job and it is like an ugly sky blue..And not that i'm not a fan of MB,I am just looking for something a little more...Standout-ish.

^ diddo!! When I repainted my car MB I could not beleive how sweet MB looks fresh!! SOOOO nice IMO.
