At that price, It's probably just painted black.

 

The thread says its black gel coated.

 

FWIW, Demonspeed did not make that spoiler himself, it is a copy of a splitter that has been run on RX7s in ITS all over the Southeast for years. He may simply have bought them from a friend of mine here in Orlando, or he bought one and started copying it because my friend only sold them to racers.

I believe MikeL bought that from a guy on ebay who happens to be friends with my friend. Now apparently MikeL is going to pick up the slack for Demonspeed, with far better results I'm sure.
