Question Floor Grid Panels?

Anyone know what the deal is w/ these things?? I've never really seen 'em before except for on this website...anyone use 'em? I'm not even sure what they're used for...??

LOL!! I was wondering...

Sure, if you have racing shoes, and it's absolutely dry, they may provide some traction, but the floor mats do a pretty good job themselves...and it's not a disaster when it's wet, like it would be w/ these metal surfaces...

those mats actually screw through the carpet floormats you have now and become part of it.

And not to mention the fact that when you spray n20 and your intake manifold is in danger they might fall off.

Those arent mats. They go sort of under the pedals. they are for you to put your feet on for like extra traction. The long part extends out to the dead/rest pedal. It's not a full mat. Do you understand, i can explain ebtter if needed. It's just for grip under/infront of the pedals.

I'm not exactly sure, but didn't some of the newer 7's from japan come with a floor plate on the passenger side. It wasnt like wat was posted above. It was angled at the very end of the foot space like it was there to provide better footing for the passenger.

I remember seeing it in a video and a few pics. Does someone know?
