Do you want raw carbon fiber (which is flexible, but requires you to put resin on it) OR do you want finished flat sheets of carbon fiber (which are basically flat panels of carbon fiber)?

what im looking for is 1/8 to 1/4 in thick doesnt really matter its for door panels... foam core is good. dimensions are about 18 by 30 in or something i still havent measured. i dont really need it to be clear coated as i can do it myself if i feel the need. just to get an idea what would 1\8 x 18x 30 cost?

It really will depend on how strong you want the pieces. You have 3 options for making the 2 panels
1) I could use 2 layers of 12K carbon fiber. That would take 2 yards at 52 a yard. Plus 50 dollars for my time, resin, etc. Looking at 154 plus shipping. It would be pretty thin 1/16-1/8 and fairly strong.
2) I could use 2 sheets of 1/8 foam core. (70 dollars) and thinner 3k carbon on both sides of the foam. Here again it would take 2 yards at 47 a yard. Plus 50 dollars for my time, resin, etc. Looking at 214 plus shipping. It would be pretty thin 1/8+ and stronger than the solid carbon.
3) If the backside of the panel won't be seen you may be able to get away with on layer of 12k carbon reinforced with a layer of chopped fiberglass. That would take 1 yard at 52 a yard. Plus 60 dollars for my time, resin, etc. Looking at 114 plus shipping. It would be pretty thin 1/16-1/8 and fairly strong.
