Fixing door panel

I'm trying to repair my driver side door panel but I noticed I'm missing a couple of the screws that screw into the ends. They have like a plastic sleeve that they go through, on the inside of the door panel the plastic sleeve snaps into the bracket. I need the plastic sleeves and screws. Does anyone know where to get them?

I talked to him about a month ago and he said he can't get them. I would have to make them. Anyone have any ideas on how to make them or who sells them?

For the screws you should be able to find a comparable replacement at a hardware store, I found some at ace. Your looking for black-pan-head sheet metal screws or wood screws; they will have similar threading.

for the plastic sleeves you can try banging your head against the internet, mcmaster carr has some promising products like part#: 2705T13
or you can try you hand at manufacturing them or have someone make them. The parts are simple to turn on a lathe or drill-press (if you don't have a lathe handy). Get some black plastic and go to town.

The last thing you can try to do is to buy them off the for sale threads. Buying the whole door may be easier and then you have spare parts .

go to your local homecenter in the hardware specialty section there's a metal sleeve that is used for furniture, bore out the center and you are in business!
