The kit is custom and only one was made. Wael did it himself and he said it wasn't too hard. I plan on doing a write up or actually making these kits if there is enough interest.

Here are some more pics.

Fumanchu when you do the right up though and see if it is worth building the kit maybe you could try to get the shroud made as well to see how much that will cost. Let me know if you can do that. If not I might have to try and get creative as well.

I am not going to attempt to make a shroud probably. I don't have the resources anymore to do fiberglass work, and I don't think its necessary with this kit due to the fact the opening is so small.

Also, this kit would not be cheap to make yourself unless you used non-HID lights. Just the low beams are 600 bucks and the highbeams are in the 300's. I was thinking of fabbing up a kit that used the Halogen Hella 90mm's. Who knows, I might still do it.

Especially if Mazdabation can get some night shots of his Hella's. I want to see how they perform.

Here is a link for them. This kit is not cheap as I said before. The cheapest I found these lights was for $600 or so.

And hold off on anymore comments in this thread. I already feel bad for hijacking Mazdabation's awesome KS kit. PM me or wait till I do the write-up.

Fuman.....I will try and get some night pics for you but the problem is the car is not being driven now because of it being winter. I have no way of projecting the lights onto a wall or anything untill i pull it out.
What i will do is either post here again, or start a new thread in about a months time when the car is out of storage with pics of how the lights will illuminate

I agree...I really like pop up headlights and I think that Knightsports has the best lighting kits for the 7 series. Very nice man...very nice.

I think I know someone who could make the shroud but I would need the existing shrouds to copy. I would like to see the KS shrouds so we can use these lights

I am sure making a shorter popup bracket would be easy.

Mark Koch at carbonfiberparts.net has switched to doing more custom work. You might be able to get him to make a shroud in CF....

You suck Chuck !!!!!

When I was trying to fab mine up, you said the lenses of the 90mm hella's wouldn't fit, yet that looks suspiciously like a 90mm on the left... and a KS kit to hold it all... then I bought your RE-Amemiya HID knockoff..... shoulda waited

woooohhhh chuck,

Lets hear some info about that. I was going to make my own kit but that looks to fit my needs. Popup with Hella 90mm... do you have any more pics of that.. from the side? I wanted to see if the inner lights are set closer to the nose of the car than the outer. Also is there any way to switch the low beams to the outside?

Those are the 90mm Hella lights. Low beam is projector. The same lights we use on the sleek headlight kit. DOT approved. Street legal. You can't bea that.
