Halogen, HID's, H4 bulbs, price? I had been eyeing those for a while. They look good on your car. Do you need a front license plate holder?

Oh ya...they go down. I just took the pics in the up position to show what they look like. The lights do have a bit of a sleepy look to them. The kit is a whole new light housing/cage so it took some time to remove the old and install all the new and set it up properly. The cage uses a shorter arm that attaches to the headlight motor. So when it raises it doesnt go up as high. It sits only about an 1 1/2" lower then stock

So far I dont know how they compare as its winter here and the car is not being driven. the lights are supposed to be low beams-outer lens, high beams all four lens. I have heard that the setup is not the best so to make it better we changed the lights a bit. Its now setup to be all four lights on all the time, this way ill have better lighting and it wont give the look of the inner two lights being burnt out.

Well price wise your looking at almost $900. Its a lil steep but IMO they have the best look as I dont like sleek light kits at all. keeps the stock look when not in use (down position). Im sure if you search around someone will beat the other in pricing and give you a deal.

They look real nice. I just drove my car for the first time in about 3 months tonight, and the lighting actually wasn't as bad as I remembered, but I'd still love to do an HID conversion of somekind.

How hard was the install on these? Any wire cutting/splicing involved?

The wirring was the easy part for me.....my friend di it LOL, I watched him though, he just put conectors in the stock plugs and siliconed it after for water proofing. So by doing it this way i was able to keep the stock connector instead of cutting it off and splicing the wires.
The hardest part of it was getting the kit to lineup properly with the cars fenders hood and bumper when in the down position. It took a few trys and moving of parts around but i finally got it. I still dont think its perfectly flush but its the best i could get it

The "sleepy" part of it isn't as dramatic as I thought it would be. Also, something doesn't sit right with me about the 2 huge circles. But over all, I like it A LOT more than any sleek headlights.

The other thing I don't like is if your going to have to use all 4 at the same time to get any kind of good lighting out of it. For $900 bucks, I would like to see a improvement in lighting, not just a style upgrade.

But I am glad to see someone actually bought the kit and tried it out. I would REALLY like to see a night shot of them on.

I just purchased Wael's custom kit that he made. The guy that bought his car, Fritz, was the man and parted with them because I loved them so much. I am going to be doing a write up/ maybe start making them, when I get the kit this week. The "sleepy" part of it is even more dramatic than the KS ones and he used a Hella HID driving light for the low beams. Here's a pic

They drop approx 1 1/2" inch so its not a dramatic sleepy look but noticable.
If i want ultimate brightness i can put in H.I.D also but i feel the hyper whites are fine.
IMO i like the circle size in the kit, they are not too big nor too small. The kit you show/have looks good, but the lights look like two pees in a pod. Just a lil too small with to much black houseing. How does the houseing look (area wrapped around the lights) to finish off the looks?
Ill try and get some night pics soon but im on night shift this week so it conflicts a bit with my time.

There is no housing.

I see no use for it. The only time I have them up is at night and the HID's are so bright, you can't see **** in there anyways.

I guess I like the less "in your face" look of my kit. Hurry up and get those pics

**EDIT** I just want to let you know I am not bashing your lights at all. Hope I didn't derail your thread to much. I was actually saving up for these when I cam across the ones I bought. The only thing holding me back from the KS's is there was no night pictures of the lights.

I love waels headlights as well. I wish he made a few, I would have bought a set off of him. They probally aren't too hard to build. If I had a choice it would be hard to choose between the two. If waels kit had a shroud to go around the lights i would probally go with that one.

I wonder how hard to would be to make a shroud for waels kit as well. I too like both kits and Im leaning towards the knightsports because of the shroud but if the other came with a shroud I like it better with the two different sized lights. Need a comparison of both though. Pics of the wael kit during the day and maybe pics of light projection of both kits would be awesome.
