Fiberglass strength

Sorry, I don't really know where to put this in. I'm starting to look around for a bodykit for my fd. I know I want an frp front bumper because the fiberglass ones crack, but I'm wondering how durable fiberglass sideskirts are. Do I have to worry about them cracking? I know I probably will if I scrape on a speed bump or something, but I'm not gonna lower it very much.

Thanks for the help.

Iv hit the ripple stip on our local track twice now and scraped on numerouse other street bumps and my sides are fiberglass molded to the car with erathane.

The lef rear has slight damage or scuffed on the underside from the above mentioned activitys but it dose not crack. Mine seems to be amazingly strong.

I guess its just a matter of how thick and the quality of the glass.

Heres a pic of what my setup looks like. The whole front end is fiberglass. Front, fenders, sides, hood and end caps on the rear.

No problem mate. Anything to help out.

O I forgot to mention I dirve my car to work everyday too and once this trucker threw an apple I think, out his window. It hit my front bumper and put a little hole and a few cracks in it. Iv patched it up with a filler and just painted over it.

Fiberglass is pretty strong and easy to fix and modifiy.
