Fiberglass and MDF

My plan was to mold a fiberglass enclosure in my spare tire well and use MDF for the top to mount the speaker. After completing the bottom, I began to wonder how would I attach the MDF to the fiberglass. I thought about using screws, but i doubt I could tighten them down without warping or cracking the fiberglass. Has anyone else built a fiberglass enclosure with an MDF top? ANY ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Mold the mdf to the bottom using more fiberglass. It's pretty simple. Just use a very low grit sandpaper so the fiberglass has something to adhere to. That's what I did on my last box and it worked great.

Man, that's nice, but it's a lot more involved than the one I made. Thanks for the info.
