FEED Type II R

Does anyone know if there is a good replica of this bumper? I think it looks awesome but it seems like everyone just has the Type II bumper. Is it because it's expensive ($2100 from rotaryextreme.com) and no one makes a replica? Thanks for any info.

haha, feed and cwest are the most replicated front bumpers for the fd. I have rotary extremes feed front on mine. I do believe their is a replica feed front in the for sale section, also ebay has some and so does raceonusa.com, but i would stick with rotaryextreme and not have to worry about fitment problems. The $2100 includes the hid turn signals that are a bit different than the 99 spec ones. IMHO, I dont think its worth the extra $1500, that money could be used elsewhere. Heres my RE feed front:

well, if your talking about the feed version2R like the one in the pic, i don't think there are anyone that makes replica of it. your best bet is to buy the original one.

No one makes the replica Type IIRs.
I searched and asked this exact question... I ended up getting one.. Original.. (trade with Mazdabation)

I believe there are less than 5 in USA.

a lot of orginals sometimes fit worse than the replicas. For instance, the scoot hood (orginal) fit horrible and than rotary extreme got it, fixed it, and it fits ten times better than the orginal. I wouldnt knock down rotary extremes replica stuff, but ebay and other cheap replicas I would.

Hey you know what you can do is buy the feed type II replica and just get a good body shop to mold those lip bits into the front part like the type IIR. Just give them a pic of the type IIR and say make my one like that. Thats the only difference between those 2 bumpers. There is a guy here in NZ that had typeII for sale and when he gets some more in I might buy one and have it molded and shaped by one of the many bodykit companys we seem to have around here. I am still deciding on what front I want. I have 3 choices. Feed, KS-Auto and Border typeII.

Another thing I liked about type 2r is that it has built in driving lights. Thats going to be hard to replica by body shops. I'm going to convert the lights to HID using replacement bulbs.

So by bilt in driving lights you mean that funny mold that where you would normaly put the feed lights is not on the typeII, If so who care's I just like the shape of the IIR better so i would mold it if i had a II. Use the 99spec lights they look good. I would rather have mazda lights on my car than feed anyway. The feed lights are nice but not necessary.
