Just wanted to run something by you guys incase anyone has had a similar experience.

In the middle of changing the main dash gauge faces on my fd. Everything going great, but when I went to remove the needle on the coolant temp gauge the needle came out with the metal pin stuck inside of it.

Has this happened to anyone before. I've pushed it back in but just want a heads up if this has happened to anyone else and it damaged the gauge? I've read forums where it's happened on other cars but found no info for the Rex. Some have said gauge is fine no problems, others said it made the needle twitchy or busted all together.
