I didn't see where he asked for opinions.
Would the rear seats fit little kids as in 9 and a 10 year old? Right now, my 10 year old sits next to my wife on the front seat and my son lies accross the rear bins for short trips to the baby sitter....
How much are the rear seats and what do they cost?

Yeah they are pretty tiny. I originally had them in my FD also as did most FDs in Japan. My wife is pretty tiny, but she had to sit sideways too. I would say they are good for kids, but only for the fact is there is "0" leg room for an adult.
That sounds like a good idea. Hopefully i'll figure something out; i'm planning on keeping the car for at least 6-8 years and kids MIGHT be a possibility in that time frame; hoping the back could take baby seats
Actually, there is addition in traction with the weight back there.. deffiently makes the rear end heavier around corners.. rear slides a bit more.. however coming out of a apex with the extra weight is fun. But you can feel the extra weight under acceleration..
