I tend to not like body mods that adapt other cars style so blatantly.

 

Re made a front bumper to make it look like a porshe..now we got a ferrari! looks alright tho..

 

Poor RX-7. The only excessive body kit I approve of would have to be the Veilside kit Just cause of the sex factor. Although i wish they would rip the wing off of it.

Of all the cars people convert the FD is always one of the best looking, still like it better with a stock body though

 

So someone decided to mimic a Ferrari 550? Lame. Oh, the car looks good...but...how ******* LAME can you get? People need to quit ******* with the FD...it was perfect, still looks incredible, and will always be one of those "timeless designs".

That looks terrible, and the Vielside looks worse. As a matter of fact, Ive never seen a kit I dislike more.

Only body mods to FD that I like are stock, '99 spec w/ Feed sides, and Vertex. Some of the Mazdaspeed stuff looks ok, more go than show IMO (think GT-C front).

 

+ 1, you said it perfectly man. WTF! Why do people make bodykits that make this car look like other cars. If you can't afford a Ferrari go buy a "kit car." Theres really no need to go take a perfecly good RX-7 and turn it into some horrible as **** wannabee car.

What everyone is trying to say, a ferrari is an attractive car. An Rx7 is an attractive car. a Ferrari-Rx7 hybrid, DOES NOT LOOK GOOD.

Its not even that, its the fact some schmoe is trying to make up HIS OWN looking car, by taking all the things he likes about each car and putting it alll together into one big pile of crap that makes it look hideous.

the little mirrors are ridiculous! the car has no apparent theme... as i feel about veilside FD's: someone needs to find some stock body panels and rescue that car.

it reminds me of this filthy 4 door civic i saw on the interstate years ago. it had a late model integra front bumper grafted onto it. i wanted to throw up and am experiencing the same reflex right now.
