FD JDM Front end
FD JDM Front end
Hey I was thinking of throwing the JDM front bumper on but I needed to know 2 things.
Do they offer it in plastic or eurathaine? (I have had bad experiences with fiberglass)
Is any additional wiring needed? (I know they have a beam and signal.)

If you're talking about the '99 spec bumper, i beleive you can eurthane oem ones (these have the license plate molding on the front) and both FB and eurathane replicas that have the license plate molding removed, but otherwize look like the oem one.
The lights come in 2 forms, you can get the oem mazda front turn signal lights, but the wiring harness won't match the 93-95 usdm fd's. But, you can buy the "knockoff" lights seem to work pretty good, and have the added bonus being a direct replacement. You can get these off ebay for 99-139 on any given day. Most rx-7 places advertised here also sell them. I was told to go buy a low wattage amber light, because the amber sometimes runs hot. I don't know if there is any validity to this.
You'll also need a new front rebar to fit the new combo lights, but you can allegedly modify your 93 front rebar to fit the lights. Never seen how this is done though.
You can also apparently, modify your 93 undertray, or buy the 99 undertray.
