FD Front Bumper Problems

I've got a 93 fd and it has spots on the front bumper that have flattened out or "dimpled." From what I've heard and read that's not uncommon. Is there a way to pull those out and possibly reinforce it with fiberglass so it won't flatten out again or would I be better off finding a new stock bumper from a dealership (Like Malloy) and reinforcing it before installation?

I've bee curious of this as well. If it happens to my new (used) bumper, I will just fill up the dimples with bondo or something and then paint it over
