Well, I want to buy a car alarm with remote door lock / unlock. I don't want to buy it from a local store because prices are crazy. Does anyone know any good sites to buy from? Also any information about installing? And, what is your opinion of a good one? I am looking at no more then $150 for the unit. I will install on my own.

best price would probably be ebay but you run risks with warranty, shipping, etc..

Look up Crutchfield! That hwere I got mine. They also give great support, which is needed for alarm installs.

Does anyone know the color of the wire that unlocks and locks the door? It can be found in the driver side kick pannel i think without taking apart the door.

 

I bought a use unit from E-bay for $60. It even had remote strat which I am not using. As for the power doors....I had to use an actuator to get them to work.
