FD door handles + 3M DiNoc carbon fiber wrap/film
This is the first time I've ever played with this stuff and it's really quite impressive. I have seen some regular old CF vinyl before and it's pretty much what you'd expect, a sticker which fades/tears/peels up over time. This DiNoc stuff however is textured and has a nice dry CF look to it plus it's very easy to work with. Supposed to hold up fine to rain/sun/whatever and is washable. 3M seems to make some pretty good stuff so I'm confident it'll hold up fine. Overall for less than $10-20 in materials I'm happy; I don't generally cheap out on my car but this is definitely a winner for those who want to freshen up the look of a part and don't wanna shell out hundreds of $$$ for Feed/CF covers or real CF wrapping.
All you really need is a heat gun and good pair of scissors. I'd also recommend cleaning off the part before hand with alcohol or something to remove any dirt/grease.
The 3M Di-Noc stuff can be purchased here... http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/ ...but I found some cheaper on ebay(beware of knock offs though!).

I know the pics look like they have some smudges or bubbles but that's the fault of my ~9yr old digital camera, the wrap goes on smooth and looks great in person.
I'm debating using the 3M stuff to wrap the FD's interior panels, may just get them repainted, dunno yet. Anyone tried DiNoc on the interior panels? Pics?
I used Neffy wrap for the panels in my daily driver/beater and it turned out great, it's more of a cloth material so not sure it'd work for some of the small/complex corners around the A/C controls and such. NeffyWrap... http://www.wrex-racing.com/bin/wp/?page_id=99

Looks great for interior applications. I am also interested in exterior applications, but they say horizontal applications aren't good if it's going to see sun at all. That's not very reassuring.

The back side looks different... black w/ small lines/squares(small air channels to help get out any bubbles). What's great about the stuff too is if you mess up you can pull it off and reapply the same piece again, back of the film stays pretty tacky, glue actually sets when you go over it with the heat gun.
