FD bumper dents

My FD has some bad dents on the front bumper. It had it since I bought it and it looks like someone had push the front with their hands. I'll post a pic asap. I heard that it cant be fixed properly becuase the bumper is plastic? Some say just get a new bumper or go second hand. I know that dings on metal can be fixed but what about plastic or whatever the front bumper material is.

Thanks,
Joseph

What kind of bumper is it? Is it the stock one? cuz thast one is made off polyurethane and is very very flexible. Cuz stock one tend to do some sort wave in front on top, and theres no real ajustement to bring it back, thats why i changed mine to a fiberglass one.

Is it a sort of wave right under the mazda badge? Because from what my bodyman told me, the sort of ajustement brackets under the bumper cannot really sort that problem out. But maybe you could install some sort of horizontal bar to get it out but im not sure if its possible. I know that the stock bumper is made out of poly-urethane which is very very flexible, almost like marshmallow.

I don't have a badge at the front. And the dents/waves are from left to right, about 3-4 of them. You can tell in the sunlight but not really in the shade. What do you think I should do? It's night now, so I'll post pics tomorrow morning before I go for a cruise.

That is a mazda original bumper trade mark. All originals do it. Mine was even worst since before it came to me someone pushed it right for the bumper. I had to change mine with another original and it did it as well but not that much.

That is because the original is very flexible and has no support from under it. They can be fixed for a while by heating them up but ultimitaly they will take the form back. That is wat my bodyman said.

Yeah, that's a common problem on fd's, mines had it and a couple of other ones i've seen have it too.If it was a dent from someone backing into you then yes, it was fixable but that doesn't seem to be your problem.

I have the same problem, a small indent to the right of my Mazda emblem. I'm just going to go with a new front bumper; 99spec or GTC (won't be for a year or so though)
