FD bose front speaker problems

Just bought some replacement speakers for my fd.

Started on the passenger side, when i hook up the speaker it makes some weird alien sounds. It makes the beat of the music playing just doesnt play the music. Then i tried both speakers on the other side and it works great . Could the piece inside the bose speaker box crap out??? If so can i hard wire the speaker to the harness that plugs into the speaker .

anyhelp would be great

Strange - I've been having the same issue! I assumed it was the Bose amp, so I sent it to carstereohelp.com to get repaired, but when I got it back, it had the same issue. Strangely, I don't have the issue with the engine off, but yeah as I'm driving, it intermittently emits weird squeals and popping noises.

The ground idea sounds legit, although it's odd that it's only on one side (passenger side)...doesn't the speaker ground go back to the headunit?

I also have an aftermarket headunit (Sony CDX-GT610UI), connected to the Bose setup via Scosche, which has worked great for me otherwise...just started happening a few months ago.

At first I suspected the Scosche adapter, but I don't think that's it...might have to check the ground when I get home. Any other ideas?
