FC Vert seats in an FD?
Will seats from a 1990 RX7 Convertible fit directly into a 1993 FD?
Some dufas kid crashed into my parked FC, and now I want an FD. The FC has great seats the previous owner had re-leathered at a cost of $3000. The seats in the FD I am looking at are warn, and cracked. I would like to direct swap them both if possible. Perhaps even wire up the headrest speakers in the process.

Check the dimensions based on the Sparco Torino:

If the dimensions (mainly the base) is larger, it's not going to fit. The FD has a more narrow seating area than the FC so there is a smaller subset of seats which fit in comparison.

The Vert seats do look a little strange. This is because their are speakers in the headrests that make it stick out more then a regular headrest. They are very comfortable since they were replaced. I just don't want to give them up to the insurance company that wants to pay me bottom dollar for the car.
Oh well thanks for the info guys!
