Hello, Im trying to figure out how to get some subwoofers (like 6 or 8 inch) into my rear strut towers, but I dont know if anything will really fit. Im trying to use sounddomains car fitter thing to tell me what will fit, but it says that
front door: 5 1/4
dash:4
and rear side panel: 4

I dont know if that is right, but if so that pretty weird. I used to compete in car audio compititions with my cavalier, but my subwoofer boxes were SO heavy that I would NOT wish the same onto my fc :0P. So I just want to find a set of smaller subwoofers that can handle my 2000 W amp @ 4 ohms. (that fit in the rear towers) But I need to know the biggest that will fit.

Have you removed the door panels or speaker grills on the dash and rear? Thats the best way to find out what you have. Many RX-7s came with different size speaker combinations. The dash speakers are always the same but the door and rear speakers vary alot. Search this section of the forum and you'll get tons of info.

 

I know my rear speakers are 5.25" in the rear. 1990 GTU here.
